Hyundai used Conexpo 2014 to launch the HR120C-9, the first in a new range of soil compactors that will only be available in selected markets. The HR120C-9, made for Hyundai by Atlas Weyhausen, is a 12tonne machine equipped with a smooth drum and a permanent front axle weight of 6.9tonnes.

Hyundai Construction Equipment is now introducing its new Tier 4 Interim wheeled loader, the HL740-9A model. This shares many features with other wheeled loaders in the 9A series from the firm, such as high power and productivity across a wide range of applications. This new machine features improvements such as better durability and operator comfort, as well as high performance.

The new mid-size excavator from Hyundai Construction Equipment is the Tier 4 Interim compliant R220LC-9A, being introduced at Conexpo. This 22.5tonne excavator is said to offer improved hydraulics, increased operator comfort and added durability, while it suits duties in mid-sized earthmoving projects.

The new R25Z-9A mini excavator from Hyundai Heavy Industries (HI) being showcased at bauma is said to fill a big gap in the company’s range between models R16-9 and R27Z-9 in the 2.6tonne class of mini crawler excavators. The DPF is said to be automatically or manually regenerated, ensuring compliance with all NOx and PM values. According to Hyundai HI, DPF filters only need to be cleaned after 5,000 to 6,000 hours in operation.

Hyundai Heavy Industries has signed a strategic partnership with German construction equipment manufacturer Atlas Weyhausen. The partnership covers four single rollers ranging from 7tonnes to 14tonnes and tandem rollers of 2.5tonne and 3tonne to be built by Atlas Weyhausen.
