Wacker Neuson is growing its G-series generator range, which now includes units with power outputs from 22-78kWA and with the G32 being the latest addition to the line-up. Wacker Neuson is well known for its hand-operated compactor units but is offering a novel model in the shape of its BS20, which is powered by a two stroke engine. This low-cost unit meets emission regulations nevertheless, due to a sophisticated design for the 80cc capacity engine.

Boppard-based BOMAG is boosting its production line in China for the second time. At the same time as the expansion of the plant, a newly built training centre has also been opened, with both moves intended to allow the firm continued growth in the region.

AUSA has opened a new subsidiary in Mexico to give the company a presence in a region. From Mexico, AUSA aims to strengthen its position in North America, said Paco Pérez Salinas, the company’s new sales director. Mexico also offers great growth potential.

Euro Auctions’ May sale in Dormagen, Germany, saw 1,400 lots (30% up on the February sale) go under the hammer, with 20tonne-plus hydraulic excavators being the most popular type of machine sold. Over 250 Internet bidders registered, and Internet bids were placed on 71% of lots with 27% of all final successful hammer bids being received electronically.
