Tendering is underway for a $154 million road project in Argentina.

The tender process is underway for the $154 million upgrade to the Route 19 highway in Argentina. The national highway links the city of Córdoba with the town of San Francisco, running through Río Primero, Río Segundo and San Justo. The new Route 19 alignment will bypass towns along the way, providing faster journeys for drivers as well as boosting safety.
The work is being offered in three separate packages. Key features of the route will be the four interchanges at Devoto, Colonia Marina, Tránsito and Los Chañaritos and the two bridges measuring 150m that will span the Xanaes River. Lighting, signange and new drainage systems will also be incldued in the work being carried out.
